Post and Packing Charges
Postage and packing charges will be added automatically when orders are placed, and can be seen when you add the items to your shopping cart.
Most items will be sent first class with proof of posting and should be with you within 3 days of placing your order.
Larger items eg costumes etc. - These are sometimes sent via courier or also special delivery.
LOST OR MISSING POST
We always send a dispatch notification on the day on which items are posted. We always obtain a proof of posting.
Within the UK
Royal Mail aim to deliver 1st class post in 1-2 working days. The aim for 2nd class post is 3-5 working days. Both of these timescales exclude the date of posting. However, Royal Mail state on their website that items are not considered lost until 15 working days after the date of posting (excluding the date of posting). Should your item be lost in the post, we have to wait until this time has elapsed (just in case Royal Mail deliver it) before we can instigate a claim for the lost package. If a package is lost, we send a replacement at the same time as we instigate the claim process.
If you need an item quickly it can be sent special delivery (guaranteed next day before 1pm) provided the order is placed before 3pm.
Special delivery items MUST be paid for over the phone (01772 702261).
Cost of special delivery post and packing will depend on size and weight and can vary from £6 to around £10 per package.
